Among the events on the calendar is also the new Fruhlingsfest Romagna, the largest spring Oktoberfest in Italy with a 2,000 square meter stand

Tradition, food and wine, music, culture and sports: there is a bit of everything in the calendar of spring events in Misano Adriatico that was illustrated yesterday afternoon to economic operators by the mayor Fabrizio Piccioni, the councilor for Tourism Marco Dominici, the president of VisitMisano Luigi Bellettini and the marketing consultant Antonino Minchillo.

“We wanted to present the spring calendar in advance so that our operators can organize themselves and make the most of it to promote their activities – Dominici said -. It is a rich and varied calendar that offers a quality event every weekend and that allows us to continue in the direction of a deseasonalization of our tourism. In addition to the traditional events, an important novelty is added, the Fruehlingsfest Romagna, the first spring Oktoberfest in Italy that we believe can represent a great opportunity for our territory”.

It starts, on the weekend of April 5 and 6, with the traditional Festa della Segavecchia. The rich program includes a parade of allegorical floats, musical shows, Luna Park, markets and will culminate with the fireworks display and the bonfire of the “Vecchia”.

On Sunday 13 April the streets of the centre of Misano will be transformed into a city circuit with a parade of historic motorcycles and a market organised by the Moto Club Misano.

The long Easter weekend, from April 19 to 21, will feature markets selling local and artisanal products, and on Sunday April 20, at 9:00 p.m., Piazza della Repubblica will come alive with the energy of Revolution, a cover band that performs the best dance music hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s in an engaging and explosive show.

From April 30th to May 11th Misano Adriatico will be transformed into a corner of Bavaria for the Fruehlingsfest Romagna, the first spring Oktoberfest in Italy. A unique event that combines Tyrolean tradition, culture and gastronomy with the warmth and hospitality of Romagna.

In a stand of over 2000 square meters, set up at Arena 58, you can taste specialties such as pretzels, pork knuckle, sausages and sauerkraut, accompanied by the inevitable beer. There will be areas dedicated to the little ones with games, creative workshops and entertainment, as well as music, DJ sets and themed competitions such as the mug lifting contest and the competition for the best Bavarian costume.

From May 17th to 18th Happy Days, the Misano Vintage Festival, will be back. It will be a full immersion in the style of the fabulous 50s and 60s, with DJ sets, live music, shows, dance classes and the unmissable vintage market.

Spring will bloom in all its splendor on May 24 and 25 with Hello Spring, the large exhibition of artisans and producers of plants and flowers, accompanied by DJ sets, street food and entertainment for children.

From May 31st to June 2nd, street food will once again be the protagonist at International Street Food at Parco Mare Nord, with excellent products from the national and international territory.

The Pink Night, scheduled for June 20-22, will mark the transition between spring and summer.

Space also for culture with the spring philosophical review “Ritratti d’Autore” that will open on Wednesday 4 April and close on Friday 2 May. Three events that will see Marcello Veneziani, Adriana Cavarero and Massimo Cacciari take to the stage of the Cinema Teatro Astra.

Sporting events will also play an important role, starting with the major events scheduled at the Misano World Circuit: the Italian Speed ​​Championship, the Ferrari Challenge, the Eicma Riding Fest, the Grand Prix Truck, the Aprilia All Stars and the FIM Superbike World Championship.

From March 21st to April 6th, every weekend there will be CSI youth volleyball, soccer and basketball tournaments that will bring boys and girls from different parts of Italy to Misano. From April 18th to 22nd there will be the Spring Training of figure skating followed, from April 25th to May 1st, by the Tournament of the Regions of 5-a-side Football. At the end of May, handball will return with the AICS Trophy; from June 3rd to 18th, skating will be the protagonist with the AICS Summer Trophy and the Memorial Filippini & Dall’Acqua.

Finally, the Italian Master Athletics Championship will bring the Over 35 excellence of the queen of sports to Misano from 20 to 22 June.
