Freestyle Frühling Session and Beach Party on the Slope in Obereggen
On Saturday, March 8, in the heart of the Latemar Dolomites ski area (20 minutes from Bolzano), the Snowpark Latemar will host the “Freestyle Frühling Session and Beach Party by Misano Adriatico” competition, a highlight of the Dolomites and Freestyle winter season in Val d’Ega.
The event celebrates the twinning between Obereggen and the renowned Misano Adriatico, one of the most popular summer tourist destinations on the Adriatic Sea, which will open its doors on June 8.
On Saturday, March 8, Latemar and the Adriatic Sea will merge into one on the area’s gentle snowpack, as they did in April 2024: the snowpark will be transformed into a “white beach” for the revamped Beach Party. The Freestyle competition with Beach Party at 2,000 meters by Misano Adriatico, the brainchild of marketing consultant Antonino Minchillo, is organized by the Bolzano-based Skateboardproject association, chaired by Riccardo Larcher and coordinated by vice-president Andrea Coppola, in cooperation with the friends of Visitmisano-Fondazione Misano chaired by Dr. Luigi Bellettini. The winner of the Freestyle competition will receive two tickets to the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini MotoGp Grand Prix offered by the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

During the day, in the snowpark, the friends from Misano will present what’s new for next summer in the well-known Adriatic resort. “Also this year with Obereggen we will share the commitment to make the vacation days as serene as possible in an organized and easily usable context. Collaborating in these initiatives is a sign of friendship that is consolidated and expresses significant synergies,” highlights architect Luigi Bellettini, president of VisitMisano. “In Misano Adriatico,” Bellettini concludes, ”we are preparing to welcome tourists, ready to offer an integrated vacation between the sea with beach services and the hinterland with its scenic qualities. In addition to the great sporting events related to motorsport, within the MWC “Marco Simoncelli,” unique experiences of their kind.” From April 30 to May 11, it will be representatives of Obereggen who will illustrate the novelties of the upcoming summer season of the Latemar Dolomites in Misano, on the occasion of the first Spring Oktoberfest in Italy: the “Frühlingsfest Romagna,” the brainchild of marketing consultant Antonino Minchillo.
