Misano winks at the Germans with the spring Oktoberfest
Trip to Bolzano to present tourist events. April and May seasoned with beer and sausages
They don’t yodel yet, but they’re close. In Misano, the municipal administration and the tourism operators look to those who live beyond the mountains, in Germany. It does so with a tourist twinning agreement signed with Bolzano, and with the first spring Oktoberfest in Italy. Yesterday, the partnership between VisitMisano, the tourist board of the South Tyrolean resort, and the Obereggen hiking and skiing area was presented in the foyer of the Bolzano Tourist Board. The mayor of Misano, Fabrizio Piccioni, was there, accompanied by the councilor for Tourism Marco Dominici and the president of VisitMisano Luigi Bellettini. The hosts were represented by a delegate from the Department of Tourism and the president of the Tourist Board Roland Buratti. In Bolzano they look favorably on the Riviera and Misano.
“We are proud of this partnership, which creates a tourist bridge between Romagna and Alto Adige – says Buratti -. The future presence of Bolzano at events in Misano represents a unique opportunity to enhance our excellence and offer unforgettable experiences to visitors, strengthening the bond between our realities and promoting innovative and sustainable tourism”.
Even in Misano they are rubbing their hands thinking about the next big event. In Alto Adige, the delegation from Misano presented the upcoming spring events, among which a novelty stands out. VisitMisano took the opportunity during the trip to Bolzano to present in a special way the Frühlingsfest Romagna, the first spring Oktoberfest in Italy, scheduled from April 30 to May 4 and from May 9 to May 11 in Misano, in the Arena 58. An event that will combine Bavarian tradition, culture and gastronomy with the warmth and hospitality typical of Romagna. In a stand that exceeds 2 thousand square meters, you can taste specialties such as pretzels, pork knuckle, sausages and sauerkraut, obviously accompanied by beer. There will also be areas dedicated to the little ones with games, creative workshops and entertainment, while for parents there will be DJ sets and competitions including the mug lifting contest and the competition for the best Bavarian costume. The promotion in Alto Adige will continue today with the second edition of the ‘Freestyle with Beach Party at 2,000 meters’ in the Obereggen snowpark, in the Latemar Dolomites area. The snowpark will be transformed into a ‘white beach’.
